Cyberfish
We had a good time at our first open water outing. we headed out to rush lake looking for gills and crappies. we had the GEM pontoon, and Jack and lowell brought their boats to help out. (thanks guys ) the first spot didn't go to well, only little ones in the back bay. We went in for lunch, then had our devotions. Jack talked about the recent Virginia tech shootings and reminded us how we never know when bad things can happen so we should always be ready to meet our God, through faith in Christ. After that we headed back out and tried out in the main lake were the green weeds were just starting to come up, we found better fish there. it was slow at first but picked up as the water warmed throughout the day. the pike were chasing the panfish around, and sometimes bit our tiny jigs. an after dinner snack mabye? Well,I thank the Lord for a great time! the next outing will be in two weeks for the opener! here are some pics of the action! getting the boat ready got the grub first sunfish of the day crappie bites silly pike! micro jigs are for panfish! Turtle time! lunch time! more fishin
MN Shutterbug
That's cool Mike. Looks like a great idea. That sure beats sending them out on the streets to join up with gangs or deal drugs. Thanks for the photo essay.

fishing tech
Looks like everyone had fun. I am not sure if it is because of the fish they caught or the Famous Amos cookies. lol Nice job.
