Last day for dogs on public lands

April 15th was the last day for dogs on public lands. This continues until the 14th of July. If you want to get a permit (it's free) contact your DNR regional office. I think it is a good law to have during the spring nesting season to limit the # dogs in state administered land. Be aware that turkey hunters will also be taking to the fields and woods starting this week.
