tobz
My buddy has a cabin on Clearwater. We usually fish for bass, and we do ok and usually have a good time. This year we want to switch to crappies for a better tasting fish.Anyone have crappie fishing experience on Clearwater (by Annandale)?
Coach1310
I have caught some nice crappies on Clearwater, but in my experience they make you work. I usually troll a tube jig or jig and minnow along a weedline. Try to find some cabbage. If nothing, then I will go back and cast into the cabbage and slowly retrieve it out to see if they are in the cabbage vs. on the edge. If nothing, then move on. Clearwater has tons of structure and good spots. I would focus on weedlines or weed flats near deep water. Good luck.
