Fish Trap Guide Ideas/Improvements

Hey guys. My buddy's dad made his Otter into a very sweet fish house by building a flat deck with compartments and puting indoor/outdoor carpeting on it, so it is like sitting on a bass boat. He also added Reflectix foil-faced insulation to the top and back of his canvas to prevent heat loss and "rain" from the condensation. My buddy said his dad got his ideas from this site. Has anyone tried these ideas or any others to make fishing out of a Fish Trap Guide (2 person) even more enjoyable? I want to keep it light and fairly simple.
