CAT'S ARE ON AND I'M AT HOME

Sorry to all of you who are out there beating the water to a froth. I'm back, and had to post something just to make sure my password was still working!

As usual, the opener has come and gone, and I am pineing away at home wishing I could be down on the river frantically reaching for a bending rod. I did get a kitchen pass for Thursday night, and then was informed that my oldest son's last soccer game of the year was Thursday night.

Alas, I must attend to my family responsibilities before my own pathetic needs. Please think of me while you are hefting large aquatic carnivores into your water going vessels. No pun intended.

Canopy: I don't want to rub toooooo much salt into it but fished yesterday morning, 7 til 11 and only landed 36 sumo kitties. That was with just 2 rods and they lost about another 15 to 20. It was non stop action with too many doubles to count.

The good thing for you is this high water and rain yesterday will only keep these kitties on the bite for quite awhile longer so maybe U will be able to bend a rod within the next 2 or 3 wks.
