Catmendo
Channel cat are acting mean & nasty here in Lockport. The action can be non-stop which in some instances is the case for some. The dam itself is producing hugh numbers of cats both on lead and on corks!Talking too one guy who just came in for a break. They've been fishing the dam since 5:30 pm, in which time they landed 27 cats. The largest measuring a length of 40 inches with a girth of 25 inches. That would put this brute in the mid 30 # range! The Lower Red has been producing high numbers of cats inexcess of 25#'s and for the most part these paterns will continue thru the end of their season which is late September.Fish "Hard" Forever!Stu McKay

Guest
Whats new up yonder Stu?Your pet Piggy's on the chew? How is the sturgeon and sumo carp doing these days?Things have picked up considerably here. Cats going well, big & small, lots of fish. Catching a few carp too, no #30 sumo carp but scrappy teens a plenty. ------------------Ed "Backwater Eddy" CarlsonBackwater Guiding "ED on the RED"
