If you don't what your doing when screwing the propane tank into the Buddy and your doing it inside an en-closer the GAS leak you have created yourself "totally unrelated to buddy" can ignite.....

I picked mine up at Gander last year for $70. I like it so far. I have not had any lighting problems with it and its nice not to get headaches anymore. I also like the fact that I can set it right against the shack and out of the way without burning anything. Its not as warm as the sunflower but does pretty good if you use the fan.

Well, at over 40% Nay, this really changes my mind on getting one of these. The problem is; if not this, what? I have a sunflower and don't care for the noise, how careful you have to be in confined spaces, the rate of oxygen deing burned up, and a big clunky thing attached to the top of my tank. The Mr. Heater cooker with an extention hose would solve the last thing, but not the rest. They do put out the heat, though, and the price is right.

They had better look into getting the ratio a little higher and check out the posts here with all of the issues being discussed if they want to continue to push a $130.00 heater. Thanks to all who responded.

I have a stand alone open flame heater, I would like to see more of these made. it looks like this. This one is great to warm sliders on, get the suitcase they will be warm in no time.

yea. I'm not a harcore ice fisher but I do like mine and it works when I want it to.
