Evening Grossbeak

I got a chance to get out with my camera; Canon S2 IS. I have the 1.5x teleconverter. It works pretty good; but it;s no DSLR. But, it does take cool movie clips.

Anyway, here's an Evening Grossbeak pic I took. They were not keen on us being around unlike the chickadees who kept perching on me. I snapped this pic, readjusted for the bright light, and he was gone. Gott'a be quicker I guess.

nice image MT!...your camera seems to take great images....I use a teleconverter occasionally also(1.7 T-con)...I saw a few pine grosbeaks yesterday (no pics ...to skiddish)...all the grosbeak species are so neat!...colorful!...jonny
