Bloody nose

Just curious if anyone has ever seen this. My 18 month old GSP ank I went hunting for an hour when I got home from work today. At the last five minutes of the hunt he started snezzing (sp) like never before. He could not stop for about three minutes. Then ten minute ride home had about three more snezz atacks. It continued in the house and got really bad for about fifteen more minutes. Then I noticed when he snezzed blood was blowing all over the floor in little specs. He has had two atacks in the last four hours but both with taces of blood from the right side of his nose.

Any knowledge from you guys and gals would be great.

Thanks.

My guess is that there is something like a grass seed up his nose. This happened to my lab last year. I watched her dive in to some grass and instantly pull back shaking her head and sneezing. I am guessing that a piece of grass went up her nose. Not sure if a seed was left up her nose or if it was just irritated.

I was concerned when it went on and on, by the time I got home I was thinking about taking her to the vet. I was all set to take her to the vet in the morning but she stopped sneezing and the attacks did not return.

Hope everything works out.
