Geese in mankato!

Got some scouting in this morning when the snow died down a little, saw a feild on the south side of 14 just west of Eagle Lake with over a thousand birds in it. I haven't seen numbers like this all year down here. Man I wish I had permission in that field I know guys hunt it, and If I was them I would be out there the first thing tomorrow morning. Good luck to everyone who goes out this weekend, it should be a good one.

Anybody seen any birds roosting on duck, washington or lake ballintine? We shot some birds on saturday night and one was banded! first one in 5 years.I think those birds were coming from washington.
