Clam Ice armour VS IDI arctic armor

I am thinking real hard about getting a new Ice Armour Xtreme suit, but today I found out about the IDI artic armor. They claim that they will float a full grown guy holding a auger. Does anyone know anything about these suits?

I got my Xtreme weather suit today. zip out jacket might be nice and convertable bibs look to be a nice addition. My blue suite was awesome but had to upgrade to the black/grey as i'm tired of looking like a SMURF!

Bought the X ice armour suit and love it.Going to LOTW in Jan. and will really know if it's great!

I am also thinking of buying a pair of just the black bibs for snowmobiling.

Just using the grey suit for walking and the ATV.

I've been looking for a new suit this year too, and there are some nice ones out there, but I just got done looking at that IDI artic armor and ya that is very nice, about $400.00 but worth every penny when your out on that sketchy first ice. They do say it will float a fisherman, I didn't see anything about a auger, but if your in the water, how worried are you really going to be about the auger. I'd go buy one and test it, but thats a little out of my price range this year.

But if anyone knows anyone selling a blue suit let me know.

They are selling them at Cabelas online for 350. Keep an eye out for sales because they seem to come around.
