huntingmaxima Posted October 16, 2006 Share Posted October 16, 2006 We were out duck hunting this weekend and just hammered them. Sat. we were done by 9:30 and Sun by 10:00. Lots of gadwalls, ringbills,lesser scaup, gr wing, redhaeds, Hoodeds, mallards,woodies, even had some goldeneyes swing by but did not offer a shot. browndog Posted October 16, 2006 Share Posted October 16, 2006 Do you mean the drought in the Dakotas moving the birds more east. It isn't the fact that MN raised more birds. If you thnk about it for a while it is pretty sad. Sure you are getting more shooting now, but the birds have less places to come back to in the spring. This is one of the years that has the potential of putting us in a slump for the next five years if the Dakotas do not get wet this winter.
