mfreeman451
Anyone have any good spots to catch bullies around AV or Eagan? I'd like to use them for some flatheads @ blackdog
SteveD
I saw a post on another forum about Alimagnet Lake in Burnsville / Apple Valley having a good bullhead population. There is a Burnsville Community Park bordering the lake so access is available. Let us know how you do!
Flaco651
You could check out Farquar Lake off Pilot Knob rd. That's in Apple Valley a little north of 140th st. I have also caught them across the street from that lake, not sure if it has a name but its on the other side of pilot knob. Thomas Lake in Eagan might produce, haven't been there in a while but there used to be a lot of bullies.
DTro
I read an article today in the Strib about how all these new housing developments are calling storm runoff collection ponds, lakes and selling the lots as "waterfront". Anyways they said you shouldn't be fishing or swimming in them for obvious reasons, and they interviewed a 16yr old in Apple Valley who was fishing one of these "ponds" he said all he was catching were bullheads, but he wasn't going to eat them.......just use them for bait.
