Went out with Papa Grump last night. We decided to hit some creeks with the high water and all. The nearby creeks all had a boat parked in it. So we thought, oh well we'll go hit a creek that there shouldn't be anyone in it. Head upstream quite a ways, come around the corner and there sits a boat. I've never seen this many boats on this stretch of the river.

Settled on sitting at the edge of a hole for the evening and right before quittin time, here comes the last boat we happened upon, pullin up to us.

"You guys got a scale?"

Turns out it was an old neighbor/friend of Papa's with nice kitty they caught.

43" and 38 lbs.
