ktcrew
This past weekend I hit up Silver Lake (west) and Vadnais Lake trying to catch some for bait, but failed miserably. I only caught sunnies. Anyone know any lakes around Fridley that are producing bullheads? I plan on going out tonight so I want to see if I can catch a few before I head out to the river. Thanks guys. channelfats
Lily lake in stillwater. I caught tons out of there just from the pier. worms or panfish leeches Under a bobber setjust off the bottom, otherwise you get nothing but 3inch sunnies. all legal baitsize. The last 2 seasons every time we catt'ed the croix, we would stop and fill up on bait.
ktcrew
Well, my cousin and I hit the Croix last night, armed with leeeches, fatheads, and crawlers. We caught nothing but sheepheads. I did see a dead baby flathead about 3-4lbs. Other than that, we pretty much got skunked. -KTCrew-
mplspug
Dead? I hope you said a few hail Marys and gave her a proper burial.
ktcrew
Thanks ChannelFats about the lake. I'll try it out the next time I hit the 'Croix. I would of said a few hail Marys, but I'm not Catholic. I would of said it wrong and probably sent it to Catfish Purgatory or something.
