Just got back from Ortonville Mn. on the far western edge of Mn. Every pothole,slough lake etc. is teeming with ducks right now. pintails,teal alltypes,woodies swans geese pelicans egrets herons you name it they are out there! the big stone whetstone refuge is a good place to go. it is the start of the mn river and it is beautiful country. any one who is looking for that type of thing to shoot should ck it out!! Also plenty of pheasants to see!

I was in the Fergus Falls area this weekend and noticed the same thing, just no time for photos. I don't remember the last time I have seen that amount of ducks around. Lets hope for a promising fall.
