Whats it like up north??

Wondering if anyone was up North in the Squawlake-Northome area?? we were up the weekend before and the snow was still up to my knee caps!!! Pretty tough getting around in the woods,weither we walked or tried the ATV. With the weather the way it was last week it has to have gone down?? Long drive with the price of fuel these days. any reports??

I drove my wheeler around the Grand Rapids area on Saturday and you could go anywhere you wanted. There was very little snow, but all the swamps and stuff were still frozen. There might be a little more snow around Northome, but I doubt it was much different.
