24v wiring harness colors?

I am installing a 24v motor on a boat that I previously had a 12v motor on. There are 4 wires going back to the batteries from the factory wired harness- red, black, red w/ blue stripe, and black w/ blue stripe. The red and black were used for the 12v, the blue stripes were not used. I assume for the 24v the red and black/blue go to battery 1, and the black and red/blue go to battery 2. Can somebody confirm this?

No, the red & black go to battery one and the red/blue and black/blue go to battery 2. Reds to positives. NO jumper wires. It is all converted to a 24 volt system in the plug that you wire on to the trolling motor leads. Hope this helps.
