TUMBLEWEED
Now that the season is almost over, I am thinking of addingthose wear strips to my sled. There is not much wear onmy sled now, so I was thinking of adding some extra protection beforehand. I am a little leary ofdrilling holes through the bottom of the tub. Howdoes one attach these things?? Also, can you evenget a kit for the medium sled anymore??
0 FISHER ED
I've installed countless sets of these hyfax kits on guys sleds. You drill the holes in your sled and the strips attach with machine screws and nyloc nuts. You could put a dab of silicone on just before you tighten things down to help waterproof them even more if you want but I've never had a water problem with mine. 0 Tyler Holm
Yes, you can get a medium sled kit. I was leary as well about drilling holes, but I also have not had any water problems. I used silicone as well.
