I have spent a good majority of my morning reading on this and one thing has never really been spelled out.

Is this leagal in Minnesota. Looks like people have used on Upper Red, where I am heading the following weekend. and was thinking of a purchase before the trip as we have had tough trips up there for 3 years. Ay thoughts are great too.

Yes, it is legal in minnesota. Upper Red Lake is perfect for SOS. Check out the article on the home page, 2nd one down, written by Dietz and myself. That was done on URL.
