Hauling your auger

Just curious on how you guys haul your augers around without having them flying all over the place (I am mainly talking about snowmobiles). I am looking at making a bracket for my otter sled and would just like some ideas.

I'm in the same boat. I am going to try to make a bracket that mounts to the rear bumper of the sled. It will also have a hinged hitch for pulling the house. I figured the suspension of the sled would give the auger the smoothest ride rather than actually on the house itself. It would be just a matter of strapping it (the auger) in place via velcro or bungy (something???).
