The Sux are set up well

Due to the rainout on Saturday, they get a team that played a night game in NY on Sunday, flew to LA for a game on Monday and then flew back to play the Sux in Chicago on Tuesday. Should be a big advantage.

Sox in 5 at the most. By the time the Yankee triumph wears off it will be to late... Chicago's edge in pitch is the determining factor. What Chicago can hope for is a long drawn out 7 game series between the Cards and Stro's.. Good luck against the halo's!

Tim,

Not much chat about your Cards with all the controversy over in the AL. I had the PIP going and saw some of your game. Sanders is on fire! Good pitching again by Carp. Great play at home by Luna/Molina. Man, I hate those Astros for some reason, mainly Berkman (and because they are better than the Flubs). Still alot of time to go. Hang in there.

Hey CNY,

Looks like both series are getting interesting? I think the Cards had just too much Oswalt tonight. What a stud, he pitched his butt off. Mulder was good but Oswalt was great. A co-worked of mine played on the same high school team here in Chicago with Mulder and says he is a great guy. Now, to add insult to injury, it looks like it is 50-50 with Sanders getting hurt and not being able to start game 3. Tough luck for your hottest hitter. Hope you guys can figure out a way to tough this one out, looks like we are both in the same boat in a 5 game series with 3 away and only 2 at home. The only thing the Pale Hose have going for them is the best record in MLB on the road this year, but, their record in Cali is about .333 so will they win two or lose two, only time will tell. Good luck with the Choo Choo train in Houston, hopefully you won't be hearing it too much.

YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD...YES! Windy

Well I'm at a quandry but I gotta stick with the Big guns one more game but if Edmunds and Walker do not start helping that line up tonight were not going to go very far. I knew going in that we would probably lose both or all of the Oswalt starts because believe it or not he is there ace. That guy took cortizone injections just to pitch last season in the post season and he is the definition of a true stud, flat out nasty.... He was toying around with our line up all night and even if we got a sniff of a rally going he just clamped down and fired lethal heat. I hope Reggies ok... We were just as good on the road this year as we were at home and I think game 3 is critical for the Cardinals. Good luck tonight Windy I'll be watching....

    • Yeah it was a beatdown
    • Your kid needs to stay with him!👍
    • My kid was eating in Beverly Hills and ran into this guy. Talked to him a bit and wished him luck in the game tonight.
    • 🤔as a recovering machinist!🤣🤣that must make me a recovering welder!
    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
    • Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
