Spray Scents

Some of the new soft plastic lures smell much like soft plastic. Imagine that !

I am curious if anyone uses or sees a value in a spray scent like the Bass fishermen use.

If you have tryed them what flavor do you use ?

I've tinkered some with scents on musky lures but not enough to come to any accurate conclusions. At the least it can't hurt and may help by covering up unwanted scent on your lures. The last stuff I tried was Ultramax predator formula I believe - the anise smell is noticeable with that stuff. I believe Dick Pearson has written about scents, you should be able to find that info on Esox Research's HSOforum under the Pearson's corner section.
