Fellas-

A friend and I are heading to Gull Lake and/or Lake Alexander this weekend. Neither of us have been to these lakes but would like to give them a try. Does anyone have any information on either of these lakes... as in - are the fish biting? If so, what is biting and what seems to be working? Any info. would be greatly appreciated!!

Opp, check the Brainerd area forum, there may be some help for ya there. Both are good spots for walleye and northern.

If I were to target northerns I would troll the 11 foot range along the weeds. Try a five of diamonds or a hinged Rapala.

Welcome to Fishing Minnesota, be sure to let us know how ya did, and good luck!
