lookin for geese

Went to the cabin this weekend in Pillager. Looking for geese pretty much everytime I was outside or driving around. Not much to report. Was out fishing this morining on Lake Alex and saw one flock of about 20 birds fly over the lake. Didn't see any birds on the water anywhere and saw a pair fly over the freeway around Rogers on the way back. Anyone seeing any geese?

I went scouting yesterday and a little bit today and saw about 1-2,000 geese total, Knocked on a few doors and got permission and still looking for more spots and some fields have not been cutted up so there is another 2 weeks til the season, so still quite early for me to say where the geese will be and everything. Been looking around from Bemidji to Fosston to Clearbrook to Fourtown to Grygla to Gatzke to Middle River to TRF.

I was out muskie fishin on Alex and i probably saw about 500 or so fly over. i couldnt find where they were goin but if i looked around hard enough i bet i could find them. they were flyin SW, so i hope i could help.
