Looking at buying a new muskie net and wondering if this net is pretty good or if there is something better? I know its not cheap,but the loop on the front looks like it would be very handy to net fish and then remove hooks for fast return to the water. Advise please

For $140 it should be able to remove the hooks by itself!

A guy at Thorne Bros put it this way: If I have a 50+ inch fish on, it's my partner that's on the net not me. Think about what is easiest for whomever you fish with to use. You wouldn't want an inexperienced person trying to get a traditional cradle under a fish, especially with their face at water/fish/hook level! He really made some good points.

That net looks pretty easy to position and get a fish into and to work out of. If it means safer and quicker releases than it's worth it.

Just wish I was getting my net wet this year, been a bit slow for us all.
