I went to Milacs on Friday night. I get to the lake and my new depth finder is working great. GPS, Lake Masters chip. Wow this thing is impressive.
I am trolling along and all of the sudden It tells me I am in 1.6 feet of water. I went to the back of the boat and the transducer has not moved. I checked the connections to the back of the unit. They are good. I shut the unit off and turned it back on. Again it worked correctly for about 20 minutes and goes back to saying it is 1.4 feet of water.
Any thought on what it might be??????
Do you think I may have received a bad transducer?
Thanks for any input.
