Garmin 240 Problem

I have a garmin 24O and it was woring fine, now when I hit the power button nothing comes on. Seams like its not getting juice or something. It did this before and then started working again,so im not sure what the problem is.

I have the same unit and occasionally the big plug on the back will loosen up, did you check that and the fuse??

I don't have the problem that you have, but I do have it flash on and off. And if I move the power cord, it will go out completely. Does this sound like a power plug-in problem or maybe the inline-fuse is shot? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Another possibility is the fuseholder itself... the fuseholder they put on these was pretty low quality... Make sure you are getting a good connection across the fuse.

where is the fuse located? I don't think there is one on this one. I had it working eariler this year and then is just stopped working. so it must be some kind of power connection problem.

On mine, there is an in-line fuse holder near the battery end of the cable. I believe it was a yellow push together type.

got it. I'll hook it up to night and see if I can get it to come on. Otherwise Im just going to bring it in to have it fiexed.
