Tyger steal leaders

I got some samples of the new Tyger steal leaders. You can tie knots with them and you can fuse them together with a lighter, they are supposed to be the real deal. Anybody seen them or used them. What do you think. I saw some demonstrations at the sports show and they never broke where they were fused only in the middle

I picked up a couple packs of these in the summer. I had to do a lot of hunting to get them. Ive only used them a few times so far but they worked great. They didnt interfere at all with the action of my soft plastics. I've only used them with the uniknot and havent tried fusing them.

I've been thinking of trying these this summer but I had not heard of fusing them. Can you explain more how they did this?

put one end of leader through your hook eye or whatever and then wrap it back around the leader tightly, and then heat it up with a lighter and it fuses together so you dont have to crimp or tie a knot.
