1/29 Sat Bangs Afternoon.....BETTER

After that fiasco on Pistakee this mornig, decided to hit bangs on the way back. Took a while, since the worlds larget snowball fight was finishing up. Didnt realize there was that many people in waconda.

Stopped at waconda boat, to a some what empty lot (probably 6 vehicles), so plenty of room to park. Crowds were on the other side of the lake. Drilled a few holes, set up some tip up, and started to jig. Nothing on the vex, but once I started to pound the bottom, perch started showing up. Got a real nice one right off the bat. Followed by some dinks. Only stayed an hour, leaving no catch em don on the ice.

That ice could not have been thicker than 4 inches tops. Maybe I was in a thin spot, as I do remember the geese being out there no morethan a few weeks ago.

So, no skunk here. Wished I could have stayed longer but no dice.
