Battery chargers...

SCHAAKATTACK

Recommended Posts

My employer has graciously given us Monday as a holiday and have decided what a great opportunity to get out and fish. So today I plug in the Vex make sure that is charged. I plug in the AV make sure that is charged. Plug in the Auger(yep I have the rechargeable version) Then I plug in the cell phone...And I realize Wouldn't it be nice if you could just use one charger for everything. I think I have all the outlets in the house in use w/ chargers. Oh wait I got to charge up the cordless drill too(J.K.) I'm going to have to label each of them so I know which one goes with each item. I think I am going to need a storage bin for all of them. With the three of them being 12 volt Gator clip style would it hurt any of the items if I used the wrong one?

Your batteries probably have different amp's. With the different batteries come different chargers. In my experience of charging four vexilar batteries and two aqua vu batteries all at the same time and not knowing which goes to what, I would say that your electronics will be fine if you hook the wrong ones up.

If you're worried, the batteries should have the amp's on them, and the chargers should have the mA's on them. You can match them up that way. For example...

A 9 amp battery uses an 800mA charger, whereas a 7 amp battery uses a 500mA charger. More than likely your vex is a 7 or 9 amp and your av is a 4.5 or 7 amp.

Hope that helps, and I know what you mean! wink.gif
