Guest
Purchased some new T.B> rods with Tica Cetus reels this year and all I can say is the rods are the best I have ever used, thier deadsticking poles tip is sensitive enough to see the minnow action on the tip which T.B. told me, but wasnt convinced of that. The Tica reels were smooth reeling and the drags work very well. Anyone looking for a good set-up, this is a real good one. After buying these rods I looked a the Midwest selection and bought one summer stick and will be buying some of thier hardstick poles also. Thanks to all who advised me on this page to try these poles out.
Dennis Steele
I haven't fished with Thorne Brothers rods but have heard they are nice.I picked up three of the Midwest Rod and Reel Tactical ice rods this season. Nice rods!! I FINNALY had the chance to use them this past weekend. They are one of the most sensitive rods I have fished with. Plus, since they are truely a custom rod company, you can pick out the actions and special touches you like. Custom wraps, handles, etc.I matched the rods up with California Tackle Reels and they balanced out very nicely. The reels are sweet too and come with a lifetime warranty for under 30 bucks.I will be getting a few soft water rods too!You can check them out at http://www.midwestrodandreel.com/
