30 inch eyes
Can anybody out there with a new auqaview tell me if the new blue/red lights work any beteer than the red/green lights, ater dark. I have a sv60 bougth new in Jan 04 and the particles or whatever in the water when I turn on the lights make it impossible to use the camera at all. It looks like it is snowing all the time. Deitz Dittrich
Depending on the lake, just about any camera is bad. Particles will reflect pretty bad.. The Blue is not as bad as the Green.. they also placed the lights further behind the camera and got a little better that way as well. The new ones are better, but there is still a long way to go for night viewing. If you can find clear water they work fine.
viking_fan
Did you use it on Rush lake? Some lakes are not a good choice to use a camara on.Dirty water or like you noticed a snowy affect, witch is some kind of bug or somthing because when you turn the lights on it seems to warm them up and they start moving around. All lakes clear up some what. Some better than others. If you are going to a lake that you know is bad for viewing with the camara, than just leave it at home. But if I don't know the lakes clearity you can bet it's with me.
