Aqua-vu MC2X-60

Does anybody have any experience using this unit? How does it work? What are the positives and negative of this unit?

The Aqua-Vu MC2X unit is discontinued this year for the 2005 season by Aqua-Vu.. It is being replaced by the Aqua-Vu ZT.. essentially it is the same unit.

It is a mid level unit in the aqua-vu family. It has the LED lights(which are better than the IR lights)and has Temperature at the camera. its is the least Expensive of the units that have the LED lights...I have had one for 3 years now and have really enjoyed using it.

Exudedude is right, The MC2X is discontinued and used to sell for $399. THe Z-50 is new and sells for $299 and the only difference is that the camara is diffenent shape, they look like fish now to help reduce spooking fish. THe multicolored light are a little different also, the new ones on the Z-50 are supposed to be better with eliminating reflection off particles in the water. If you can get a MC2x for less the $250 it is probably worth it if not go with the new model. AJ
