auger holder for an otter sled?

has anybody experimented with a home made auger holder for the otter sleds? i was thinking that it would be nice if there was a way to mount a pvc tube or something on the side lip of the sled to allow for more batteries, chairs, rod holders, propane tanks, etc to fit in the sled. anybody try something like this or am i dreaming?

I had a bench seat in my magnum sled last year.Its hinged to one side of the sled on two bars. I could load up the entire sled then set the bench down and strap the auger to the bench bars.

The travel cover would even fit over the whole works.It worked pretty slick.
