Guest
This is an exciting, affordable tournament format that minimizes amount of time commitment, yet allows for enjoyable, competitive tournament fishing. The contestants meet for breakfast and the tournament lake is drawn from a list of 4 lakes available for that tournament. The lakes are all located in central MN, approximately one hour from the breakfast meeting. For more info, call 320.243.7601 evenings.
Guest
Yes devrbronc, these tourneys are on Saturdays, 4 throughout the Summer. They are team tourneys, but you can fish as an individual if you don't have a partner. Give me a call if you have any more ?'s or are interested. SpringerGuy
Sounds like it would be an interesting day. What kind of tournaments are they? Walleye, Bass, Panfish, muti-species? Entry fee? payback? What area of the state?Polebender
Guest
These are bass tourneys. They are headquartered in Belgrade. The lakes are within 1 hour of there and include Minnewaska, Johanna, Pelican (by Ashby), Sauk, Koronis, Big (by Richmond), Horseshoe Chain, Sylvia-Twin, Clearwater, and RedRock. Each date has 4 lakes chosen and listed on the entry form. At breakfast meeting, one of those 4 is drawn from a hat. This gives people a chance to check out lakes that they have never been on, yet limits the advantage some teams have by not being able to pre-fish for several days a single lake. The tourneys cost $50 + $10 big bass pot. There is also a team of the year contest if you choose to join that costs $50 and is paid back 100% to top teams. We have a lot of fun and usually stop at a bar and grill somewhere on the way home for supper and a few "refreshments"! These tourneys may fill up, so if interested, I recommend inquiring early.Mike320.243.7601 evenings/weekends
