anyone herd of any crappie bites yet in central or northwest iowa yet?

We've been getting crappies for 2 weeks in local pits..... fishing nice days. Templar Park and the Grade on Spirit have been producing... once again, best on nice days. I would say any place that has crappies will produce when it is warm and sunny. Shallow, protected areas that have warmer water. When the weather turns colder you will have to go back to deeper water and tthey will be less active.

John, I lost your email, email me at [email protected]. Im not sure when I'll be home next, but Ive been getting some crappies at lake meyer to, not huge, but 9" average about.

Crappies been biting good N E Iowa.I been fishing sand pits by home.Ice jigs and waxies size 10+ ave. Lots of gills too.P .S Dave email me when you can be homeI show some spots.FISH ON
