Tonight i was fishing with my dad down at black dog outlets. He was using corn. We had been there for maybe a half hour when he said his line just had a bite. He grabbed his rod, reeled in the slack, and set the hook. When he set it his rod bent double and the fish camp up to the surface. He started to reel in and SNAP!!! his rod breaks in the part where the reel attaches to the rod(complety broke in half there). He started to pull line in but the fish got off when he got it to shore. Our guess is that it was 10-20 but we have never caught anything over about 7 pounds and we didnt get a good look at it. Had one more bite the rest of the night but man, that sure gets the adrenalene going.
