I just got back from the Rainy river fishing walleyes but also caught my first sturgeon, a 53 inch monster. Just a blast, 90 minutes of being drug down river on 6 lb test. Managed to tail him finally, I'd be interested to know what he weighed. Any tips on fishing these guys would be appreciated, tackle, lines, bait,etc...Thanks guys T

  I went ahead and watched some of the MLF coverage. Wheeler didn’t make the cut but the bigger story was the Poche/Avera fallout. Kinda funny listening to both sides of the story and putting together the scenario, reading between the lines.
