Lunker
I'll be heading down to one of my cold water caro spots. The culvert on the mississippi sometime this week. Ive been skunked the last few times due to changes in water color and temps there, but a bud of mine did well on sunday there. That or ill hit up the black dog outlets. jparrucci
I did very well fishing for carp last year on the blue earth river right where it meets the Minnesota River in Mankato. This year I've been out 3 times and haven't had so much as a bite. I've been using corn like I did last year, but no luck. The Bobbershop bait store didn't have crawlers yet, either did the holiday gas station. Maybe these next couple of warm days will make these carp more active. I have classes all day tommorow, but Weds. I'll be sure to get out if the weather is nice. I'll post if i have any luck.
Lunker
Anyone been fishing during this cold weather recently? I don't know when the carp and suckers are going to become truly active. Anyone have an idea?
