powering tv with 2 batteries

Usually got about 4-5 off 1 battery so I would assume around 8ish.... If you have 2 real good batteries you can just as well run it 1 at a time and just cycle from charged battery to charged battery... I mean , that's a lot of tv gotta have some time to catch fish right?

Is this done with a 12 volt tv or a power converter?
