Can I get a vexilar fl-22 converted upgraded to a FLX 28

I wonder can I get a vexilar fl-22 upgraded to a flx 28 by sending it in to vexilar in Minneapoilis.

No. I'd keep your 22 if I were you and just buy the 28. That way you'll always have an extra unit for your friends/family to use!

No they are two completely different beasts. Like Corey said I would keep your 22 HD. Have two of them, and will not sell them, and have the 28 on the way. I always have an extra unit with me when fishing tourneys, for just in case reasons. Luckily I havent had to use one yet, but have had other buds on the trail who needed to use it more than once when their "other brands" failed them. The 22's are such great units, I would definitely hold on to it!

You can add the auto depth readout without even sending your unit to Vexilar. They sell a digital depth readout called the DD-100 FL. It can literally be hooked up in minutes. You can also add the pro view transducer to any Vexilar. I would keep old unit in fact I still have my first unit I have owned an Fl8 so now I have 8- 20 and FLX 28 they are all going strong
