Chad Peterson
You just never know what you will find in those untouched back waters in Northern Minnesota. Well,we headed out on an adventure to scout out some of those back in the bush lakes, and we found those golden jewels. Hit 3 different lakes and struck out on two of them, but the third was awesome. Fishing in 7-9FOW and just pitching crankbaits to catch walleyes any where from 12-22". Normally, these lakes will hold panfish or big northerns, but we learned quickly that there was walleyes in this lake. The lake was no more than 50 acres and the deepest part of the lake was 10 feet. After having a winter like we did this year, you think that it would cause "winter kill". Not in this case. Check out the video we did.
