Replacement Tent - Voyager/Thermal X

AF-1984

Recommended Posts

Would anyone happen to know if a Thermal-X replacement tent fit onto a Voyager sled? On the manufacturer HSOforum, the size specifications given are exactly the same (setup, height, packable).

I have received feedback from customer service that they do not believe it will work. The individual really couldn't explain sufficiently why it would not work though.

I have the Voyager model with the trap-link door on the back. I use this feature quite often, and the Thermal-X is the only tent that seems to have both the thermal and trap-link features.

Thanks!

The J.M.(Thermal X) and the Voyager TCX should not be a problem. The X Trap is a totally different ball game. I don't think it will fit on a Voyager because of the way it is set up. Not only the sled is way different but the X has some extra material in side that plays as a skirt.

Are you just wanting to replace the tent to go with the thermal top, or is the voyager tent with the trap link door damaged? You could probably find a replacement Voyager tent and look at selling the house if you want to move into a thermal.Like Kevan said, the X trap wouldn't work, but I would think the voyager TCX should work
