Jim, I received your package safe and sound. Thank you! Also, thank you for the 'extras' you included, I will put everything to good use, and pay forward your genorosity.

I wanted to stop back here and make it known how truly humbled I am because of the kindness and genorsity I was shown. Aaron Otto and Jim Kusuda have helped me find some equipment I lost due to a stroke of bad luck. Was it a huge loss? Probably not. But these two took it upon themselves to help me replace pieces of equipment no longer readily available for purchase. Gear that I considered some of my favorites, not becasue they were 'top of the line' type things, but they just fit my style perfectly, and I really enjoyed using them. These two men lent a helping hand to a fellow sportsman without any self consideration. In a time where these events are few and far between, there is hope in knowing there are people and representatives of companies out there who do not think twice in helping someone. As I said before, I was truly humbled and will now take it upon myself to offer my help when given the opportunity as a way to pay it forward. Many thanks to these two. I did not expect this type of response when posting this topic, just looking for a small amount of insight to a place where I could replace the things I lost. I felt it important to make the HSO community aware of their graciousness.

Also, ao, I haven't forgot about you. I still am searching for a unique form of payment for your actions. I would't feel comfortable accepting something for nothing. It may take me sometime to get something pinned down, but I am working on it. I will send something over to you as soon as I figure out the right thing. wink

Thanks Again,

Jordan

Not quite yet. I tried to make my first outting, following the birth of my new fishing partner, last Saturday. Unfortunately, 15 miles down the highway on my way to chase some Walleyes on Lake Sakakawea,I ran into blizzard/whiteout conditions(30MPH winds and fresh powder snow). It was some of the worst driving conditons I've seen being born and raised in ND. Thankfully we were able to get turned around and make it back home. But it definitely put a damper on the fishing plans.

I will be sure to give a report as soon as I make my "comeback." I'm hoping to get on some Perch this weekend, and try the new rods out. Thanks again!!

As promised, here are a few my brother and I were able to scratch out one day last weekend using the rods provided by the aforementioned sportsmen. The one being held up is 14 1/2" 2.2Lbs. It was a true giant...My brother's first large Perch. He doesn't get out on the ice but maybe once a year, so he decided to put it on the wall as a trophy.

Thanks again guys!!
