Went scouting around this morning .
Beaver 3-4 inches .. open on the northwest side. No one fishing.
Twin Lakes (north of humbolt)4-5 inches froze over some snow cover about an inch worth. There were about 12 guys out fishing. Saw on Med size Shappell? out in the middle of the lake.
Island and Diamond (north of humbolt) 4-5 inches . Saw about 9 guys fishing the south side of the road on Island no one on the north side of the road . The ice heaved and broke near shore leaving a bunch of ice chunks covering the rocks.

Glad to hear the report.Sounds like the ice is in that 4 to 5 inch range from everyone i have talk to today at the bait shop in Parker.Now is anyone putting any fish on the line?
