I bought this 2 years ago now for some reason this year the black coating in the inside is cracking and coming off is this normal? Will it still work were its bare now for waterproof effect. 3rd clam house i've had and well they dont last long.

If your not folding it loose around the pipes and letting it blown in the wind on the way to the lake and back you are going to wear off the coating on the inside. I have had 3 Clams as well and they all did it if I bunched up the tarp when folding it down by the pipe joints.

My Kenai did the same thing under light use and always in the garage or under the topper. I fixed the problem by buying an Otter.
