chasineyes
Ok so I just replaced my front brakes and rotors on a 04 expedition. Just tonight my wife said that the front tire had smoke coming from it. She said the rim is EXTREMELY hot! I have a feeling my calipers aren't releasing?? I replaced the rotors and installed ceramic pads. The OLD rotors and pads were really bad and the piston was frozen. I thought I fixed it by replacing the rubber slides on the calipers but maybe they are worse than I thought??Thoughts??
Macgyver55
and the piston was frozen. If the caliper piston was frozen and you didn't replace the caliper, that is your problem!
