Ive got a 1990 Evinrude 40HP outboard that is locked in the down position. There is a piston that helps "assist" the motor tilt up and down. There is supposed to be a release screw but I can't seem to find where that is or how to release the pressure to lift my motor... Anyone familiar with this system and where it is located?
My motor model is E40TELESR... I may need to get some pictures posted to help out.

Nice to finally meet you tonight. Make sure you tell me who you are again next time you come in. I will probably forget.
Let me know when you are dropping in again and I'll make sure we have more of those beverages around!
