redneckwilly
Hi i'm new here. I have heard from a friend that there are alot of great fisherman here. I'm asking about a location on a local lake below to catch walleye. This lake is known for it's walleyes, and I'd like some more advice on where to sit. I know how to catch walleyes, been doing that since I was 5, but always on lakes that we knew where to fish. Now I'm starting new. Feel free to download and draw on it. Thanks! WalleyeBIZ
I'd try the east/north east side of the sunken island in the middle where it fingers out!! Maybe 12 to 15 feet! How clear is the water, is there any vegetation?
Bureaucrat
Drill holes and get runnin. You'll find them eventually. I would start in 12' as well and keep going in all directions until you find them. If the weather warms up a little, it would be a lot easier. redneckwilly
not sure on the vegetation or the water clarity
walleyeking19
I'd start on that finger and just drill out towards deeper water till you start marking them. Also looks like some nice breaks on the shoreline that might be worth a shot. I'd recommend just filling your auger full than start drilling! Chad Holst
I'll give it a shot. I would start with the solid red arrows for morning and night bites and then search around the deeper areas near large deeper flats with structure near by (red and white arrows. The inside turn on the big hump should be a magnet for feeding fish pushing suspended bait in the evening. On the solid red arrows I would search for 12-15 feet of water. I would look in the 15-18 range or a bit deeper on the other areas. On the big hump. Start shallow..12, and work your way out on the inside turn until you mark fish. Eric_Kruger
Hey, I know that lake! Chad nailed it on where I would start!
Northlander
Steep shoreline break off that 38' mark. Drill in and around it til ya mark some fish. I also like that inside turn on the east side of the mid lake hole.

WalleyeChaser
I would also agree with Chad. If you have a couple guys with, run plenty of tip ups in shallow w/ somewhat dusk and after. I've caught many walleyes in 10 fow or less this year. Lakes do vary through. It can't hurt to try a night or 2 shallow. It will either seal the deal or eliminate it. And try a spot more than once. Not necessarily on coinciding nights but at various times and days. Good luck!
